F-Sex is a space dedicated to having open, ongoing conversations about sexuality and the female experience, however you may define it. Through group activities and discussion, participants collaborate in the creation of a space that fosters dialogue, learning, and a sense of community.
Rotating peer “curators” will help guide discussions, create reading lists, and organize the continuation of the space, but one of the primary goals is to make F-Sex a flexible entity that responds to and is created by the members within it.
F-Sex meets once a week for 2 hours and each session has a different focus. Topics discussed include Privilege, Identity, Language, Body Image, Kink, and Anatomy. No formal applications are necessary, but we request that people submit a brief introduction email to aida@thecsph.org so we can best prepared! Anyone over 18 is welcome to attend, and we strive to make it an inclusive group that honors all voices as having something valuable to say.
CURRENTLY: We’ve moved our meetings to the Watermyn Co-op (on Waterman St) Mondays 7-9pm. Watermyn co-op is basically a big house with 16 residents who live and work together. Our meetings will be in their common room, which is basically like a big living room. 7pm is Watermyn’s dinner time, so there will be food to eat if you want. The coordinator will be helping them cook on Mondays to make up for our sharing their supper, so if you want to help as well let us know!
Nothing but your thoughts, ideas and experiences are necessary to participate. Bring yourself!
F-Sex is an ongoing program organized by The Center for Sexual Pleasure and Health.
